U12 BOYS & GIRLS VJBL TEAMS ANNOUNCED
What a tryout period! Thank you to every U12 player who gave it a go. For many of you this was your first rep tryout, and we were blown away by your effort, energy and willingness to learn. Our coaches had some really tough decisions to make.
Congratulations to our U12 teams:
U12 BOYS
To players not selected: We know this is disappointing, and it’s okay to feel upset. Trying out takes courage, and you should be proud of yourself. This is just the start of your basketball journey, so keep playing, keep having fun and keep improving.
To players selected: Well done! Enjoy every moment, be a great teammate, and be kind to friends who may be feeling down.
Parents and carers: Your support means everything at this age. Acknowledge their feelings, and help them see that setbacks are part of learning and growing.
We look forward to seeing all selected players at the meet and greet on Sunday | 9:30–11am at Patterson River Secondary College.
